So I was reading some forums about how to prevent escaping bugs, roaches, isos, etc etc. And they were talking about this PTFE (slip-a-bu) "Fluon" coating.
what are you putting in the bin? becuase walmart has these black bins that are a smooth as packing tape my dubia nymphs cant even climb a half inch up it
I just got a 45 gallon thats black, but it has a slight texture to it. Walmart. Another one 30g blue and a translucent blue that is smooth. They cant climb that. couldnt find anything else like that, that was opaque.
Like they were saying about the teflon earlier, be careful. It kills birds DEAD. Like, not sick, keel over dead. People too, I hear. And people use it when cooking! Scary stuff. /shiver.
We have some, but don't use it often. Alex likes to cook with it sometimes, but it scares the crap outta me. I make sure the a/c is off, the bird room is closed off, lowwwwwww heat with the extractor fan running and the windows open. Usually I put up enough of a stink about it that he just uses another pot. lol
