If she rubs the honey off, it shouldn't cause and problems to reapply it. Just can get messy. I've been treating Ruby with it for a few weeks now and she gets it all over everything. (Her little vent swelled up and started bleeding after a bout of pinworms) we started seeing improvement within a day or two of using the honey but man she smears it everywhere.
Oh good lord, I would freak tf out if I saw pinworms in any of mine 🤢😅 it does look a little better than it did yesterday so hopefully it continues that way

Hello,

Great that she has a 4x2x2 tank, that is a great size! How often does she tend to bang up her
snout on the tank wall?
If it is a bit too me ssy, then you can just apply the honey on her snout/chin at night. I'm glad that
it seems to be looking better right now.

Let us know how she is doing.

Since she is scratching and pacing, she bumps her nose constantly. Either on the glass door because she wants out, or she'll go to one of her walls and press her snout into the wall and then scratch. It definitely looks a lot better today than it did, they honey seems to be working well. I hate that she keeps producing eggs over and over, i know she's just so tired

Hello,

That definitely doesn't help with her pacing, etc & wanting out.
Are you having her spayed due to her excessive egg laying? I'm sure it is wearing her out! It really can
take a toll on them.
I'm glad that the honey seems to be helping out her little snout.

Yeah, that and when she laid the first 32, she *really* struggled. It was 12 hours of active, nonstop pushing to get them out and she'd push so hard, her feet would come off the ground and her back legs would shake violently, it was kinda scary. That, and the fact a week later, she's basically laid half a clutch. We can't let her go through that again, it's got to be constantly stripping her of all her nutrients and stuff. That and the pacing and frantic digging in the tank/against the glass, she's gonna end up hurting herself more than her snout.😮‍💨😮‍💨

Hello,

That is quite stressful for you both, absolutely. It's too bad she has had so much trouble. There are some
who just have overactive ovaries while others just don't.
I hope she is doing better & getting some rest now.

She's finally stopped. She had a recheck monday and vet said it looked like she had maybe a few left and proceeded to lay an egg on the xray table and then laid another 4 or 5 later that day and one more the next day. Like 53 in total, since september 7th
Since then, all she's done is sleep. Nonstop. She's been sleeping, almost lethargic seeming and streaky. Like, day before yesterday, she was sleeping so much, her hands slipped off her hide and just her head/neck resting on the log was holding her up, like in that second photo, but her front legs not supporting her.🤦‍♀️ I hope there isn't anything wrong with her, she has another appointment today, to make sure nothings going on, her poop was super watery and real dark and she's push upping at everything. I got her to eat a few superworms yesterday and after everyone, she'd push up.

They did another xray, no more eggs, but one thing that could *possibly maybe* but she really didn't think so, she thought it was mostly a shadow. She's dropped more weight, 960 before laying, 870 right after the first 32, 780 the next 20, then to 760, now she's 740. They want us to do critical care if she won't eat or eats less than two of three bugs, to make sure she replenishes the vitamins and nutrients in her body.

Enjoy nova's halloween pictures😅😅

Hello,

Great, hopefully she isn't developing more eggs. At least she has lost some weight which will help her
feel better. Definitely keep up her nutritional status so she will be able to go through a surgery easier.
Keep us posted on her!

a poem by AHBD (THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE IT!)

Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?
