I woke up Monday morning and found my bearded dragon upside down like she had fallen from her rock. Her health quickly declined. She wouldn't eat or drink and her eyes were closed most of the time. I was using a baby syringe to feed her critical care smoothies and give her water. She would perk up for a moment. Move funny and close her eyes again.
I took her to the vet today and they found fluid in her belly and a mass on her side. Being that she was 16 years old it was recommended to euthanize her. I cried as I said my final goodbyes to her. I miss her something awful. She has a special place in my heart. I love you Scrappy

Scrappy really lived a verylong time for a bearded dragon, you must have taken excellent care of her and she had good genetics as well. No matter how they go, it always brings grief but especially with cancer which is like an invader in both humans and animals. Sending my deepest sympathy , I know Scrappy was very special to you.
