She is so beautiful and not much difference between temps and uvb other than tegus like it a bit hotter. If anyone on here has a tegu will you tell me general care? I’ve got the hot side to 109.8 and 77 cool side. Keeping the humidity between 70-80. Running a T5 zoo med 10.0 reptisun about 10 inches from bask spot (on top of screen). Nighttime temp was about 79f. She’s about a 1 1/2 years old and I’m offering food daily. If someone could just give me the quick husbandry needs and care. Just want to make sure she is being taken care of as best we can. She ate a lot of chicken yesterday and looks a little plumper I can see all the bones on her sides and back. Be much happier when we can’t anyway thanks for your time and here’s a pic of the little beauty.

Yeah she is amazing. The funny thing is it was my son in laws. He was staying at our house for a few weeks at the time. I’m actually the one who unboxed her when she got to the house and was involved with her for those few weeks. She doesn’t let anyone hold her anymore and has been aggressive towards people including him. Not this guy though 🤗 it’s almost like she remembers me and knows she’s in better hands because she is so sweet to me. I’m very happy she’s ok and I’ll make sure she thrives now. My daughter says she doesn’t think the ooor baby has ever been in temps above 100. Well she’s been basking in 110 for two days and loving it. She ate a bunch of chicken yesterday had a bath and pooped my wife and I are very pleased to have her here.

She is doing real well as of yet, and has a good little belly on her today. Keeping a nice gradient from 105-115 with a 75 w halogen flood and 50 w dhp. People say they can handle 130 I’m doing more of my homework any advice would be great from anyone who know anyone LOL. However what we are doing this far is working. Yesterday eating 14 dubia through 3 feedings, and a little bit of hard boiled egg with a good poop and friday ate some chicken. Today 8 dubia and some turkey ball that had calcium, spirulina, and vitamins with turnip greens In it. Drinks plenty of water She is doing great ! We really dig having her around.

The baby is totally thriving here!!! She is gaining weight quickly the bones on her back and bum are almost not noticeable anymore! She is eating Turkey balls with veggies and supplements in em. She has eaten an insane amount of roaches from my colony I’m gonna need to invest in more breeders and grow that a bit. She is eating shrimp like a mad woman. Im gonna do more research and broaden our foods we give her. I’m proud of the progress and she is so so affectionate she loves under her chin scratched. Oh and her poops are massive lol. Look at the belly now

We are just so proud of the progress Raven has made here at our home. We have got even better with our diet we’ve learned a lot more about the species so we have really broadened what we do for her but look at the difference between a month ago and now

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
