I've been reading on this website about how some people's beardied have fully burried their eggs, and deep. My main question is, how do you get the eggs out once they've been burried? (seeing as they're fragile and cannot be shifted) Also, if you put the lay box in the cage, does that mean every time you come home you have to dig carefully through the dirt to see if she has laid? Or will it be extremely obvious that she has?
Thanks.
normally when a female is pregnant she puts on a lot of weight. once she lays her eggs you will see that she is very skinny. it will be very obvious (at least to me) that the female has laid her eggs. Then once you know she has laid them, yes, you carefully dig through the lay box and normally they choose a corner to lay in. Eggs are not as fragile as most people think. You cant go digging through like a bat out of hell and risk puncturing the eggs, but you can digg without the fear of moving them or something.
