I have had Rae for about 7-8 weeks now. He refuses to touch his greens. I've tried so many different combinations, blueberries, strawberries, supers in his salad, spaghetti squash, etc
He just never ever touches it. Is it that big of a deal, or should I be doing something else?
How old is Rae? If he's very young he probably won't eat alot of greens. I got Draco at a year and had problems getting him to eat salads. Now he munches on them all day long. He loves strawberry and I just rubbed it all over his greens and left little bits of strawberry in there and that started him eating his salads. I feed him Collard greens, dandilion greens, bok choy, and escarole. I am looking for mustard greens to go with that but alot of our grocery stores don't carry it. I'm always rotating his veggies every second day and small amounts of fruit every 3rd or 4th day. Just keep putting some in everyday so he gets use to it and recognizes it as food and sooner or later he'll start eating it. Especially when he's older. Bandon helped me to get Draco to eat salads. Heres the thread: http://www.beardeddragon.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=156924
He's getting to be that age where he should be switching to 80% greens, 20% insects. If he's a healthy weight and active, it might be time to try tough love soon, and offer nothing but salads until he's eating them on a regular basis.
