Just a question, does anybody else's beardie play with their reflect? My little Bernard will sometimes instead of eating his crickets he will lick his reflection, is it maybe because it is the sight of another bearded dragon or what?
It is really cute though it makes me  a lot.
Hi, I am also a new bearded dragon owner and I have had my Lyra for about a month now. It's normal behaviour. However, if it's making the bearded dragon stressed, you should perhaps consider getting a dark towel to put around the tank. Or, if she is no longer eating.
I had a square viv at first and this caused many problems as she was seeing her reflection everywhere. I had to get a towel and wrap it around. At one point, she puffed up when I went to touch her. (Which is very unlike her) and I put it down to the reflection. When I covered it up, she seemed a lot happier and was letting me hold her and everything else. She is now in a long viv where luckily, the glass it's highly reflective and she is much happier.
