Hi,

I noticed these two red looking bumps on my dragons back feet. The right foot is swill and the left has the same mark but not swollen. What could they be?

The uvb fixture looks to have no reflector - you want a reflector in it- they will reflect the uvb rays down ward toward him benefitting him

That would be great and can you recommend a thermometer I can use in the new 4’2’2?
I would get them now - PetSmart or Petco zoo med digital probe thermometer - one for your basking side and one for the cool side- you don't need to leave the probe on the basking decor long enough to get the temp and spot check every 10 days or so - basking bulbs lose their intensity after awhile- I had one last week that was not very old and when I put it in I could see it was not as bright like normal and it wasn't getting temps up like normal either it blew out

We are currently building the new tanks. I will pick up the new bulbs and fixtures and thermometers tomorrow. The fixture i heard on the 120 gallon has to diagonal on the hood?

Hello,

Definitely post pictures of the new tank when you are done. You are building a 120 gallon tank? Lucky dragon, he will have
tons of space then. It is best to mount the tube bulb directly overhead, taking up about 2/3rds of the length of the tank.
How are his feet doing?

Still the same. I just gave him a bath.

It could be from glass surfing and being super active. Can you post pics of the inside of the 20 gallon to show your current set up ? Is the flooring tile ? In the mean time you can put raw honey or Neosporin on those areas.

It’s a bit messy cause he keeps spilling everything. Also, no poop for two days.

the left leg is swollen as well. I put antibiotic ointment after i gave him a bath. He is moving around. I’m gonna buy pedialyte and maybe some black cherry juice in case it’s gout?

Set up is nice although he's outgrown it quite a bit so he'll enjoy his new large enclosure. One thing though, is that the pebbly carpet/sand mat they sell for the natural look ? If so that's likely what caused the sores. And yes, black cherry juice is good IF there's gout, Pedialyte is not necessary

Yes it is. Yes it kinda looks like the skin is raw and maybe that’s why his leg is swollen as well? What could I do about no poop? I gave him a bath already.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
