You think Ryuu's a girl? We aren't for sure ourselves... although I did read how you can sex a beardie... but I was (a) sure if s/he was old enough and (b) didn't know if s/he would let me :)

Ryuu just kinda stares at us during bath time... LOVES looking at my husband... sorta ignores me :)

So cute! I gave our babies their baths and Derrick kinda watched until this week. Last night D took over on Twitchie's bath. Not sure if I'm OK with that. Also til now the little Hermes has been MY BABY but he let D burrito him first :protest: You'll win him/her over I'm sure... off to feed treats while hubby's at work

Cute :D Kashet prefers the shower especially when the bathroom is all steamy. He doesn't care for a tub of water tho. He's happy to set in the shower and let the water run over him and gets peeved when the water starts getting cold and I have to take him out

I will try the shower thing once Ryuu gets bigger... lately he's a total spaz. He loves zooming around his tank and hiding under the leaves, or digging under the sand. It's amusing :)

is it normal for beardies to freak out after their bath and hiss and puff up at me? Tonight Ryuu had a cow after his bath, squirmed, hiss and puffed up. I dried him off best I could and set him under his lamp... he was NOT wanting to be held! Is that normal??

I have questions about bubbles on our bearded dragons eye.

So he’s gotten bubbles on his eye. We wiped them off and it’s only been twice in the last few weeks. Should we be concerned? No coughing or congestion. He’s very hungry and sleeps well. He’s 8-9 month range. His humidity is 30-40 day time and as high as 50-55 at night to early morning.
Should we be concerned?
Swordtail has been doing a whole lot of "Lizard yoga" lately
Currently trying not to stress over my anemic dragon....she is being treated, but I don't agree with her treatment plan and have been seeking out a second opinion from another vet. If anyone else has dealt with anemia, please let me know how it was resolved. I am losing sleep over this
Another post lol. My beardie does not like enclosures. Her tank is the kids room and she has created a nesting/bed spot in the corner. She will cuddle with my son but she know when the lights are out and the kids go to sleep, she literally goes to her bed like she is our 3rd baby. I love her. And to think, I never wanted a beardie lol
