I remember reading somewhere that nighttime temps should be raised for beardies with parasites. I don't remember where I read this, so I would appreciate some confirmation.
I suppose it makes sense, to help out their immune systems, but is there proof that infested beardies with higher nighttime temps will recover faster than those with lower/normal nighttime temps?
There isn't 100% definitive proof but the best thing to do is just give it the medications the vet gives to you and do what the vet says to do. Im sure keeping the heat on won't hurt.
Hi there,
I recently visited a herp vet who mentioned to me that a slightly higher heat can help their immune system fight off infection, and i presume that goes for paracites too.
I was advised to raise Miso's temps whilst she was taking antibiotics.
