Do u have to feed crickits is it a must to there diet?
I have not been I have two 8 month olds and 1 yr old they are fed Collards daily I add papaya often and I have been sprinkling it with pheonix worms today I added Zilla red fortified food.
I dont feed crickets because they dont seem interested in them and just let them run around there cage then I have a very hard time removing them.
I also set up feeder tank w crickets so I wouldnt have the problem of removing crickits and my dragons just are not interested.
Main question is it ok to not feed crickits if they are eating salad daily with worms often
As long as you have some sort of protein source a.k.a. live feeders, you're fine. Some say worms are better than crickets, and phoenix worms in my opinion are excellent. As long as you've got greens, fruits/veggies and feeders, you're all good =]
The Phoenix Worms are an excellent replacement for crickets, just make sure you are feeding them plenty of them(about 20 to 30 a day each). I personally use Repti-worms instead of crickets, which are the same exact thing as Phoenix Worms.
my bearded dragons dont seem to eat much of anything I mean amount wise they mostly eat like 3 pheonix worms a few bits of salad and that all maybe there appetite will come with age. Do u think so? I think there healthy Luna is in a shed right now Torch is very active and Rock'O seems well
