This is my new girl, she is one of Barbara's babies from the first clutch and was born on 7/17. Her proud parents are Ms. Tiggs & PVT Blaze. As we know, all Barb's beardies are spoiled.
She had a long trip from CA yesterday, all the way to NY. She arrived 12:30 today. She is gorgeous, has orange colored eyes and is a real sweetie.

I had a problem with Photobucket, promise to put up more pics later. She had a bath, ate a few greens & a little squash as well as 2 crickets. She has been cuddled quite a bit already. And, as Barbara knows, she loves to run up your hand & arm when you try to put her back in. :D
Her stress marks are gone right now, she laid on my lap and snuggled into my hand.

Oh geez, that's terrible. I remember waiting four hours at the ER with my mom one day with her screaming out in pain. In fact, she even was having an allergic reaction and they told me to leave to get her some benadryl. I don't think I've ever been quite as angry in my life!

Well, my back is better, still stiff but not having the bad spasms that I was.

I'm also happy to report that Gizmo ate 5 supers for Josh today. He also got his 4th injection, only 1 more to go.

I also posted Sabrina's Memorial thread as well as sending the Tatsu Memorial info and pictures. I now have a feeling of closure and know that I did these final things for my girl.

Thanks Lori, yes it was very hard and I did get emotional at times but I loved looking at her beautiful pictures. Thanks for encouraging me.

You're welcome, Diane. Truthfully, I did it for me, also, as I'm looking forward to having a book with her pics that I can look at and read any time I want to.

I agree and it will be nice reading about all the other beardies' lives too.

Hi Diane! I am sorry that you have been dealing with a kidney stone :( . Never had one, but know all about them. I'm happy to hear though that you are feeling a little better. Hopefully even better by today so that you won't have to spend your day off at the Dr's office.

Glad that Giz is doing a little better as well. Poor guy! :( Great that he ate 5 supers. :blob8: Maybe the Baytril's working.

I bet you do feel some closure after posting Sabrina's memorial. I know that could not have been easy for you. I will have to go look at it.

May your week continue to get better for you.

Hi Dawn, thanks. I'm am doing better today, back still grabs at times as well as my hip pain, but much better than I was on Saturday. Yes, the Baytril has made a big difference in how he's feeling. He still needs to work on getting his strength and muscle tone back, he steps so high sometimes with his front legs that he topples over which upsets me when I see that.

Lori and Barbara, I'm sorry that you felt sad when you read Sabrina's Memorial. I could have written a lot more about her amazing stories but tried to sum it up the best I could. It was also hard trying to limit the number of pictures of her, I must have thousands. Here's the link in case anyone has trouble finding it. viewtopic.php?f=37&t=149990

Thanks for the HUGS.

It makes us sad because she's not here with you anymore. We remember when our beardie babies died. I loved reading about her life. That's why I go on there and read the memorials. The best ones are those that tell how important they were to their slaves/parents, tell about their lives, at least to me.

That's what makes me sad too. It was so easy to come up with stories to share about her because she was so unique with her behavior. We know we'll never find another that has the wonderful personality that she had. We wouldn't even attempt to try to find another like her, she was THE best in our book.
