Question about basking log

im making my beardie a new viv and i found a perfect log to add but it has some cracks in it and i dont want her to get hurt...so i was wondering is there anything i can fill the cracks in with that wont hurt my beardie :?: thanx in advance!

The cracks should be fine, the log trogdor uses has some cracks and he still loves to lay on it.
