He must have been socialized really well, usually they are timid for the first few days. But you did get him from a really good breeder so I'm not completely surprisedI was a little busy yesterday but Pumkin has been running around exploring, relaxing, and eating lots of bugs !! He's an inquisitive little guy ! They can be very relaxed right from the start so it's good to see him like that is your experience with him. How many bugs did he eat ?I was a little busy yesterday but Pumkin has been running around exploring, relaxing, and eating lots of bugs !! He likes to watch me like this;
Yes he is he ate about 15 roaches plus half his kale, collard greens, & endive saladHe's an inquisitive little guy ! They can be very relaxed right from the start so it's good to see him like that is your experience with him. How many bugs did he eat ?
So cute !!Good to hear he's eating those greens, very important to start them on veggies right away. That's how I raised all my little guys. That's a good amount of dubia, don't feed too much more than that. And yes when they are bred and raised well they are usually mostly calm, they get handled regularly raised in small groups during feeding and cleaning time . I used to take my little guys outside during the warm months so they were used to being in different enclosures and their kiddie pool when I took them outside. Here's a group from years ago.
