Hello again everyone!! It's been a long time since my last post in here. Long enough that my other introduction was auto locked.
Yesterday I was at my local reptile expo to pick up a few things, and ended up going home with a new little girl. She makes me nervous because she's only 3 1/2 months old, and 6" long. I got her from the same breeder as my other guy, "south paw", who is doing amazing!!
So, without further ado, here is Gorenaire!!! (Pronounced gore-un-air)
Here's a few newer ones of SouthPaw. He's 15" from nose to nub. Now keep in mind hes missing a great deal of his tail. His breeder thinks he would be about 20" or more if he had his entire tail. Im not sure how old he is, but he was 7-9 months old in march.
And thank you!! She's a she I love her. She's like me, feisty!!! Lol.
She's a good eater too. She hasn't pooped yet since Saturday afternoon, but im not concerned yet. She is still settling in. I have her in a small Rubbermaid inside of my boys big tank. I haven't had a chance to set hers up yet. I brought her home and had to go straight to work. After work I was exhausted and just didn't get a chance. Ill get her settled in her tank after work today tho. And go from there.
Today I discovered that shes kind of afraid of crickets!! I dumped a few in her little plastic Rubbermaid(which is now just her cricket-time box) and I didn't dust them cause I was rushing around trying to get everything done so I can sleep(I work nights) ..so they were bouncing all over, and she flipped the F out!!! I thought maybe it was just because she was stressed, as I had just finished setting up her tank and there was a lot of commotion. But I tried again later, un dusted, and she did it again!
So, will dust tomorrow, and see if it helps. Poor girl didn't eat much today, just a little bit of greens. But I'll get her thru it. It's only been a few days that I have had her, and since Saturday its been non-stop chaos for her.
