Has anyone had any issues with probe accuracy based on the battery life of the probe? I put new batteries in my 3 probes last night. Today the readings are 5° higher on all 3 and the room temperature, ect. is all the same. New batteries are literally the only difference. Can the probes be off when the battery power is low? It's not a problem to start changing the batteries when the display starts to get dim, I'm just freaking curious.
That is a good question, I don't know the answer. Did the old batteries die completely? If not it would be interesting to put an old battery back in one and test the temp with the two probes side by side. That would be one way to know for sure.
