I recently bought a 50 Gallon terrarium for my beardie from a friend. They used it for a bearded dragon before, and gave me all the things they used for their pet. I am wondering what I should use to clean the tank out and all the items so that they don’t smell like another beardie (my dragon is a male). I have heard of using distilled white vinegar, wondering if this is effective? I didn’t think you could use any type of chemical cleaner because they’re toxic to beardies. Any tips?

Vinegar mixed with water (half and half) should do the trick. Wipe it down thoroughly.

F10 is another good cleaner.
Here is a thread discussing how to use it.

Whatever you use, be sure to rinse it very well. Even vinegar can leave a strong, unpleasant odor .

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
