So I've decided to use Phoenix worms for my baby dragon, seeing as how they run small, and won't hop around and make noises like crickets!
However, I'm confused on the schedule of powders. I created a food schedule with just calcium powder 5 days of the week, and the other 2 are calcium with D3, as I'd seen on a website previous. Does this sound okay?
If not, could I get some clarification on what kinds of powder vitamins I'll need? And maybe what kind of insect that will run small enough my dragon can eat it? Thanks!
Phoenix worms (BSFL) ARE a good source of calcium so dusting them is not necessary and, with good strong UVB (10% to 12%,) ,D3 is not needed . With an Acadia 12%D3 or a reptisun 10.0 T5 HO, it will help your dragon produce it's own. If you do not have one of these lights, use D3.
Vitamins however are needed at least twice a week.
