My beardie's stool has been quite watery for the last 3 days (including today) and absolutely STINKS

Also has undigested mealworms in it?? He seems to digest all his food fine exept for mealworms for some reason which btw aren't his primary feeder - it was a bank holiday recently here in the uk so pet store deliveries were delayed and thats all they had

He usually eats dubias or crickets as well as his greens ofc
Theres been no change in his appetite, his temps are always stable (basking spot 39C) and has proper UVB

Generally hes been acting fine, nothing really changed in his behaviour or environment exept from his stool
Will probably take him to a vet if this continues for the next few days - will i need to take a stool sample? how do i do that?

Yes, please take a sample. What ever happens DO NOT let them do an enema to get an sample, they end in tragedy way to often. They can kill your beardie giving enemas.

update on this post,, ill be able to take him to a vet next week, right now his stool looks like this, but he hasnt pooped today which is unusual
to be fair, ever since this has started he has only pooped outside of his vivarium and i didnt let him out today, but before this all he had no problem pooping in his viv so im not sure what to think about that

He probably doesnt like the smell either. Some beardies(mostly adults) are very picky about their enclosures and will only poop in one area or even poop outside their enclosure.

Hello,

While you are waiting to get him to the vet, you can mix in some parsley, mint,
oregano, basil & cilantro to help with detoxing naturally.
What foods are you feeding him?
