Possible tail rot

So we’ve had Pepper about 2.5 months. I’m noticing a spot on her tail that might be tail rot. I’m currently bathing her 2x/week. I know she had retained shed so we were doing it 3x/week and soaking her tail in betadine just to be safe. I stopped that maybe one month ago?It was looking good but I noticed after a bath about a week ago it’s discolored like shed but not peeling at ALL… I’ve tried to get it “loose” with a toothbrush after bathes but no luck. I’m worried it’s tail rot.
pics are dry tail.

Its shed let it do its thing here is info on tail rot
Causes of tail rot are:
1. Injuries/trauma - caused by falls, or by any other bearded dragon.

2. Malnourished - make sure he has a balanced diet and he gets the nourishment he needs

How to identify tail rot:

1. Dried out - Decaying tail won't be able to retain moisture, check if it's dried out completely.

2. Very thin, brittle - Decaying tail won't be able to process nourishment, causing it to become more thin and brittle.
What to do after finding out it has a tail rot:
1. Go to a vet - very recommended

T Ask yourself these questions:
Was the tail recently injured?
Was a part of the tail open (eg wound/scrape/cut)
Was flesh exposed?
Is the tail constantly dark? or does the darkness ever go away (eg when in the tank, different environments)
If you didn't answer yes to basically all of those questions, it's not tail rot.
Tail rot is extremely rare. It's an infection of the flesh, from a wound or injury to the tail.
Tail rot is really kind of just a fancy name for an infected wound, one of which is affecting the tail.ail Rot

Thanks so much! I know I can be a little OCD. It seems everyone is talking about tail rot and I got worried. Thanks for the questions, I’ll keep those for the future!

My female bearded dragon has recently started gasping for air all the time. She can’t get sleep or really do anything because she has such a difficult time breathing. I think it might be a RI but I’m not completely sure. Any thoughts?
