Hi everyone, so I’ve had my beardie for about three months now and I love him to death. But I’ve noticed to me that his eyes look funny...or at least I think they do. I’m not sure. He’s not sluggish in any way, he loves being outside his tank, he gets collards and crickets everyday with the occasional apple or carrot. He also gets the occasional Phoenix worm as a treat. He’s so sweet but I want to make sure there isn’t anything wrong with him. Can someone please help me and tell me if his eyes look sunken in??
His eyes seems normal from what i can tell, can you go over the setup with me, also if you can i'd say feed phoenix worms/calciworms/black soldier fly larvae all the time as those are really high in calcium and one of the best feeders.
Whats the basking spot at?
Whats the tank size?
Coil, Compact, Tube light, or MVB?
What brand of uvb?
Is the uvb on top or mounted inside?
Whats the cool side temp.
What are you using to monitor the temperatures?
Ok, I was just looking at his eyes and the edges of his eyes just looked different for some reason to me. He has a 40 gallon sized tank. For lighting he has a 100 watt basking bulb and another smaller 75watt bulb(both bulbs are in separate dome lamps), so his warm side is 100-105 degrees. The cool side is around 80 degrees. The uvb is a 10.0 T5 HO Reptisun 24 inches long on top of his tank.
