Hi guys! My beardie has been really enjoying the summer, and with the temperatures being pretty hot, I try and let him soak up some natural rays here and there throughout the week.
But I'm a little bit concerned, today I noticed that his mouth gapes a lot and I'm starting to wonder if he may have a respiratory infection.. or the start of one.
His tank is set up well, all the temperatures where they should be, I checked em a few times. His diet is mostly crickets and collard greens, but I mix in some extra (safe) veggies/fruits once in a while.
He's been acting a little lethargic, not so active. And with the mouth gaping, I'm getting a little worried. I wanna take him to the vet, but I was wondering if anyone knows how much it costs, roughly?

I guess I'm just concerned because it seems to be pretty often. Is there any other early symptoms I should watch out for?

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
