I noticed my BD’s leg the other day and I’m not sure what’s wrong with it. To my knowledge he hasn’t fallen and it doesn’t seem swollen. When he walks he is able to bend it, but he keeps it straightened out when he isn’t moving. I’m trying to save going to the vet as a last resort as they can be expensive, so is there any way I can try to fix it on my own?
Does he have a hammock in the tank ? Also make sure your UVB is up to par and correct basking temps--- NO coil UVB's they are inadequate and properly placed in the tank ----distance matters --- basking temps are 105--110 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer
