Hey everyone!
I'm wondering if it is possible to have an outside enclosure for my dragons for during the day? I don't like them being inside all the time and would, love for them to get some natural sunlight. I am just not sure on how to make it and what to put in it? Help please!
I'm making outdoor enclosures for my beardies this year as well. Though I don't have that kind of money to spend on enclosures I can only use for a few months (I'm in Canada, burrr).
SO, I'm just converting some old furniture into makeshift enclosures. The first one I've got is just an old coffee table. It'll be flipped upside down, and I'm going to screen in the sides and add on a top, probably just a quick rectangular screen top made out of 1x1s. a few pieces of tile on the floor, some climbing things and hides, and all together it'll cost me 12 bucks for the mesh and 1x1. Though that's mostly because I've already got lots of tile laying around.
Not sure what I'm going to make my seccond enclosure out of yet, though if I can't find anything to convert, I'll probably just use 1x1s for the whole thing.
Just remember to seal any wood that's not already sealed, if you end up making your own.
Thank you for your ideas! The cage I have now is made out of wood, I think I might buy a good inside one and then use the wood one for outside. And I'll just put mesh where the glass was. Where I live, it gets cold from autumn right until after winter. :/ lol
