Hi guys,

I am not looking for something simple I can use for when I take my bearidie out to hang out with us in the bedroom so she can recharge when needed. I was going to get a Arcadia uvb/heat combo bulb and slap in in something I can move around easily.

I'd recommend a MVB.(All in one)
There's a lot of good brands out there

And they are all in one bulbs.

I let my dragon free roam a lot and have tested a lot of different combinations. I've found that sometimes they really prefer just heat so I have an incandescent bulb set out that produces high 90s to about 102 or so. I've also found that they can detect an infrared heat bulb and will pancake under that sometimes. I also use an Arcadia MVB for offering UVB. They are excellent. I have one of the kits that LightYourReptiles sells. The UK version with power converter. The bulbs last for quite a long time (well over a year in my case) and it comes with a good dome fixture for it. This is by far the best MVB I've tested in terms of beam width/output.

For all of these lights, I use a zoomed adjustable lamp stand. They aren't amazing, but are the best option I've seen that is widely available. I also prefer using brooder dome lamps that you can get in the farm/chicken section of a farm supply store like Fleet Farm or Theisens. They are only about $10 and have much higher build quality than reptile specific domes. They are usually rated to 250-300w and come with the hanging wire you need to hang them from the adjustable stand.

Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.
