my beardie just woke up from her first brumation, and she has been quite active since she woke up. She had a long brumation of almost 4 months so i was really excited when she woke. but i have noticed that shes been pooping small poops basically every day. she used to poop maybe once a week or every other week. at first i thought maybe she was just pooping alot because of the brumation and she hadnt gone in a while but she has been awake almost a month now and she is still pooping ALOT. if anyone knows why she might be doing this the input would be appreciated. shes also been VERY active since she woke up but i have attributed that to just bieng kinda hyper. shes been running around alot and enjoying her out time. thank you for any advice!
*edit: hese a boy sorry i got him a while ago and only realized a few months ago he was a boy and havent gotten used to calling him a boy
Hi there, some females act like that when carrying eggs. And they don't need to mate, they can develop infertile eggs. Is she eating a lot ? If she's gravid [ pregnant ] you need to set up a laybox.

he hasnt been eating more than normal at all. hes been eating regularly and his regular amount since he woke up. the only thing that seems to have changed is the amount he has been pooping.
O.K, well that rules out being pregnant. It's possibly just related to his being hyper after such a long period of dormancy. If the poos look very runny or are super smelly it might be good to have a fecal test to rule out parasites. He looks good + healthy.....did he lose much weight over the 4 months ? And what is he eating now ?
He actually didnt lose very much weight that i noticed if any. he definitely grew a bit actually. i was worried about him going into brumation because hese barely a year old. he eats crickets some days and basil, and other veggies he likes other days.
