Black beard is not good--- please post a pic of the dragon--- pain distress mating are common w/ black bearding-- even bad lighting - like coils certain basking bulbs--- what are you using for a UVB?
It’s def nothing to do with the viv he is still happy to go to bed when the lights turn off and go straight under the basking bulb when it comes on in fact he has been so lazy in the summer he would sit on his shelf all day and I would move him myself
I think he is just stressed from this Lego piece and the vets are the best around I drive for over an hour to see this vet as they specialise in exotics
His beard sometimes goes away but most of the time it’s a grey black and if I take him out he goes jet black - really he only does this in the mating season
The only other thing I can think of is that he still has some kind of impaction but he has pooped twice since and it’s been well formed and no blood and the urate looks healthy
His body does look a bit puffy but I think he is stressed - obviously I will take him back to the vet in a few days if things don’t improve - he doesn’t want food but he is happy to have veg from a syringe - I hate seeing him like this - thing is it’s November and he wouldn’t be eating now anyway

Sorry to read this about you poor beardie, he must still be uncomfortable which is understandable but hopefully the worst is over. The vet still should have taken an xray, if he swallowed a Lego without notice he might have something else. The 2 shots probably hurt, just like with humans a shot may produce varying degrees of pain and so that could contribute to the discomfort and black beard.
How is your boy doing, any improvements thus far? I hope his beard isn't dark now,
but until he passes the object he will likely be uncomfortable! Has he been eating
anything?

Oh no, I'm so sorry. If only they wouldn't swallow crazy stuff but they are like kids and pop these things that are not meant to be swallowed. My heart goes out to you, I know you're devastated. Hang in there.
Oh no, I am so sorry he passed like that & that no vet would help you.
