Hello, my bearded dragon woke up from burmation after 9 weeks  and he pooped out a huge long white looking poop and then 2 hrs later he had a small brown poop with liquid (he drank water when he woke up).
I was 100% sure his stomach was empty because he didn’t eat for 3 days before he went into burmation and relieved himself prior to going to sleep
Should I be worried that he desecrated after brumation?
This is a somewhat common occurrence. His body stored fluids & after such a long sleep,
his system had to excrete them in a solid form. Did he drink any fluids while he was down
for brumation, at all?
How does he look, overall? After his stool size, I would definitely try to get him hydrated
now for a few days or so, before giving him much food. His digestive system will be sluggish
for a short period of time because his metabolism has been slown down awhile.
Thanks for the quick reply Tracie,
My beardie had nothing to drink, in fact I turned off his heating and lighting and put towels over his tank. The room temp was kept to 70 degrees, so I know he was fine and in a deep sleep.
It does make sense what you are saying, that is what I was thinking...he looks great and did not lose much weight, actually he was a bit active, and I did give me a bath so he could drink water.
I've never had issues with him, Dracko is healthy!
I am happy to have found the website/forum..thanks again and will post update if need be.
