Her tail may be black because she is uncomfortable. She may be impacted, have parasites, it's really hard to say. But, taking her to the vet tonight is a good idea. In the meantime, make sure she isn't up on anything that she might fall off again. You can even use big fluffy towels for her to lay on. Please let us know how you make out.
