It is a 103.6 degrees on his basking spot I couldn’t find him Phoenix worms I’m going to look tomorrow should I switch him off the collard greens and switch him to mustard greens to maybe see if I change his diet it will help the diarrhea
Where are you looking for phoenix worms? They are also known as BSFL and nutri grubs or calci worms -- all the same thing ---- have you made a vet appt ? That temp is a good basking temp-- how did you take it? You can try mustard or turnip greens --- they are both good- you can mix them together --- turnip greens last longer than mustard

I took it with a digital thermometer probe thingy I haven’t made a vet appointment yet I still need to find out what medication he’s on I looked at petco and petsmart but tomorrow I’m going to go to reptile store 40 minutes away
ok I dont think Petsmart sells phoenix worms or at least not around here -- if I was you call them before you drive there- unless your going there specifically for something else --- I dont know how big of a town you live in but you could try your mom and pop stores if there are any where you live -- the only one we had closed in May and now all we have are the chains Petco and Petsmart - you may haft to order on line ----- that is where I get my roaches and super worms and phoenix worms (BSFL) Please get on the vet thing -- he is not getting any better

You said he's puffing up his beard and opening his mouth wide, can you take a video of this and link us to it? Putting it on imgur or youtube would probably be easiest to link us to. I doubt I'm right, but I want to be very sure that he isn't just gaping or even being defensive/scared for some reason. Some people mistake this for a breathing problem if they don't know what to look for, so I just want to be 100% sure before you spend money on a vet, because the video will only take a couple minutes to record and post.
Ok I’ll make to sure to record next time I catch him I know what it looks like when he is trying to cool down it’s just a slight crack of his mouth but this was he was opening his mouth as wide as possible and puffing his beard in and out really fast
How is your dragon doing today? Do you have a cooler end for him that doesn't exceed
80 or so for him so that he doesn't get overheated at all?
They can puff out if they feel threatened, but usually they will blacken their beards a little
bit also if they get scared.
I’ve moved around the decor and bought a new log that sits directly under the uvb but he has resumed the same position I don’t want to force him to move because he gets mad but he will usually move on the basking log and move around a little bit but not a whole lot I haven’t been taking him out but when I do take him out he runs around for 15 minutes then proceeds to find a dark corner and sleep I’m not sure if all dragons do that or that is because he is ill I’m going to call the vet today and ask what antibiotics he was on
If he still is breathing hard and has a RI he needs to go to vet--------- the brumation he should sustain his weight - is he a good weight now ???? You need to weigh him so you know if hes losing ----- you dont want him to lose weight --- weigh him and let us know what he weighs---- kitchen food scale is good - we need grams---

I am going to the vet tomorrow his beard is black all the time it may be something more before when I took him to the vet his beard was never black all the time
They said they are going to give him oral medicine for pin worms and to give him 2 baths a day and see if that clears up the breathing and his diarrhea and if it doesn’t they are going to send me to a specialist
