My bearded dragon zipper has mbd. I have many posts on here about my baby. Today she started going in a circle and she wont straighten out. Yesterday she ate superworms and mustard greens but I noticed that she was holding her head tilted to the right. And when I checked on her just now she was in a circle. I tried to help her walk straight but she just went in a circle all the way around. Am i about to lose her???
Hi there, sorry to read this about poor Zipper ! She is not about to die but the circling is neurological. Some dragons do it occasionally + recover, some will continue to do it but live with it. You might get her checked by a good reptile vet in case she has an inner ear infection. What type of supplements is she on ?
I'm not sure exactly, I've never used it. Send a p.m to Tracie [ Drache613] I'm pretty sure you know her, one of the mods. here....she's more familiar with exact dosings.
Yep thats my baby, since then I got 2 more, I love em, I am doing alot of reading and it does seem like it could be an ear infection, goodness I hope so
How is Zipper doing today, any improvements?
That picture depicts a neurological issue. Did she accidentally ingest any type of toxins that you know of?
Are superworms a regular item that you feed her?

She is doing better not going in circles as much, walking straighter. She is either in her tank or on me. Superworms and dubia roaches are her normal food. And mustard greens. Plus her liquid calcium everyday. Nothing new except 1 raspberry I tried her on.
That is good to hear she is doing a little better. How odd, but you should be getting enough calcium into her. Are you giving .3mls or so daily to her on the calcium?
You don't think she ate anything toxic then? I hope she continues to improve right now.

If you are going by her weight & the dose instructions, technically you can give her .3ml or so, or .35mls since that is dependent on her weight.
