PLEASE HELP is this Yellow Fungus?! And if it is what can i do to get rid of it?!

I noticed this weird coloration on little Reginald's Scales I don't know what they are. But he doesent seem bothered by them and he still acts like he's very healthy he eats, he poops, he still likes to explore and scamper around when I take him out of his tank. But it is Yellow so could this be YFD and if it's not what could it be? Should I be alarmed? Someone Please Give me any insight you have I beg of you I don't want to lose my little Regie

How long have you had him ? That doesn't look like Y.F, it could be some type of scale problem but not as serious. It might even be just a really odd shed. He looks agitated there, was he black bearding before you picked him up ? Can you post some pics of his tank, show his decor + substrate.

I agree, it isn't yellow fungus, but possibly just old shed that is being stubborn. He is not happy though,
sporting a bit of a black beard. How long has it looked that way?
