i have a 5-7 month old bearded dragon he is about 14 inchs long using a ruler
and one day i thought i should feed him a pinky, a verry small pinky!
i feed him the day before veggies and thats it,
the next day i bought superworms and a pinky
i gave him 5 superworms and followed with a pinky, then a couple more superworms.
the next day veggies.
then the next day fruits.
and its been maybe almost a week since he went to the bathroom!
should i be worried?
or does it jsut take time to digest the pinky?!
Also, at 14 inches, he is still too small to be eating superworms so these could be adding to the problem.
At 5-7 months though, he should be being offered livefood such as crickets on a daily basis - as much as he can eat in 10 mins, twice per day. However, until he poops I dont think you should feed him anything solid. Bath him daily and rub his tummy, give him a few drops of mineral/olive oil and maybe get some chicken babyfood, add some water to it and feed him small amounts of it until he passes a poop.
