Phoenix's New Castle

So my little Phoenix has been growing like a weed so it was time for an upgrade.I decided to post a want add on CL and see if anything popped up.Well I found a perfect set up for her that was originally used by the Riverhead Museum to house you got it beardies.They only wanted 50$ for it and I think it was a pretty good deal.Here are some pics.I have soem more "decorating" to do but you giys will get the idea.The ledge is one of those new magnatural ledges(medium).I want to get the large one also but they didnt have any in stock.She took the move pretty well so far considering she is in full shed but lets see what tomorrow brings.

I have two of the magnatural ledges, Roger loves to hang out on them. Also, careful not to put them under your basking lamps, I actually had one get a little melted.

Really? I am using it as her basking platform. The pet store I got it from use them the same way. How close to the light as yours?

It was probably within 8 inches. I think it was a 75 watt bulb. It basically melted the outside shiny layer and now you can see the styrofoamish layer underneath.

Wow Vicky, that looks great & it sure does look like Phoenix approves. I love the wood and the cabinet, you got quite a deal for only $50, definitely too good to pass up. I've never seen the magnatural ledges before, do they cling to the glass or do you have it right on her basking log? The last picture of her is absolutely adorable, what a face she is giving you, the look of delight, yet maybe a little apprehensive. Her personality just shines in that picture.

Yeah I am really excited.It was like finding gold!I was like "You want how much?" "Ok! be ther tomorrow!"
It wasnt easy to transport but it was def worth it.Its so funny she looked so big in the other tank and now she looks so small

First thanks and second the ledges are magnetic you just put the ledge on the inside and the magnet on the outside.You have to be careful though because the magnets are really powerful and I almost cracked the tank!

Beautiful setup! Phoenix is one spoiled little beardie (and rightfully so). I love the Captain Morgan picture - that made me snort water up into my sinuses. :lol:
