No, that's not really bad, just keep your husbandry correct and she'll grow fine.
On the other topic, I posted about an experience I noticed with petsmart in the town I go shopping once a month. This happened more than one year ago. It was a good experience. No one seemed to notice or care that I had a good experience. I noticed that no one responded to a positive post about a pet store. Yes, they all give out some good and some bad advice. There is a reptile store in the same town the specialized in all sorts of reptiles and they suggest feeding mice to beardies. Between what I've read and thinking about it, I can't see how that would be completely healthy for the beardies.
It does seem to me that most people, even those on here, seem only to want to complain about the pet store bad advice and experiences.

I agree with you on the experience at PetSmart. I had a good one and it seems that people are here to complain and dont really share the good stuff, just the bad and you dont feed them the fully grown ones you feed them the pinkies and they are the baby ones. Also you only feed them to the adult ones and its a treat, not a staple. I have a friend that has adult beardies and that is what she has fed them.
We fed our first two beardies a pinkie, once. It was a frozen one, we can't get live pinkies. That was because the smallest one had lost her appetite and we were trying to get her weight up. She went for it that one time. We tried again and they didn't seem as interrested. I do remember that it's o.k. to give them a pinkie, maybe once a month or twice at the most. The way this petstore talked, tho they gave them pinkies more often. We've never tried pinkies on Redrock and our two current ones are to little to try them on.
