Part of beard is silver

Question: Our beardies' beard goes black or brown, but I noticed today that about 1/3 of it is grey. We've only had her for 2 weeks, (she's a rescue,) so I don't know if that's normal. Thoughts?
Sorry for the picture quality - she wiggles. But you can see the silver part.

Is it thicker or waxy? It looks like it could be a darkened beard under a thick coat of shedding skin along the beard.

Not really. It seems normal, just a silvery grey in that part now.

It's probably just a gradient with some gray then. I wouldn't worry about it on it's own but if the beard is darkened for an extended period there may be an underlying issue or something may be bothering her.
