hi guys,
my wife always has a parsley plant at home that she uses to spice the food when she cooks, the baby just loves to go on top of it and eat it. even if he isnt eating anything else , cause he is soo full, he always takes a nip at it. soo my question is, how good is it and how often should i let him eat it? soo far it seems to be the thing he likes the most in the world.
I found this site which is really good for beardie nutritional info. It gives the protien/fat/sugar/fiber content of most common foods. According to the site, parsley is fine to feed, but only rarely.
I believe it's listed under "rarely," but I think it would be fine once in a long while...def. not a few times a week though. I'm no herp expert so I can't really give you any authoritative information, but from what I understand parsley is high in oxylates which can lead to kidney harm, so I would stick with dandelion and mustard greens and kale just to be safe.
