Two questions please

Can a vet test a poop sample that came out in the bath ? It’s the only one we are going to get ?

Can a beardy brumate with low levels of parasite ?
TIA

I would think so. Just scoop it out and put it in a ziploc and keep it refrigerated/cool. Best to get a sample as close to the time of the vet visit as possible (and usually within 24hrs).

They can usually manage low parasite levels, and I don't think that would cause a problem during brumation. It kind of depends on the type of parasite and the load amount though. Best to get a sample tested and administer treatment if needed before brumation if possible.

We took a bath time sample in to our vet and he was perfectly fine with it. We kept it in the wet paper towel we used to get it out of the bath, and put it in a plastic bag for transport.

And how is the pet feeling now?
My dragon has been eating less lately, sometimes leaving food almost untouched. We are afraid that he might have parasites. Yesterday I gave him some parasite powder Home | Fenben Lab. I want to take his feces to be tested in two weeks to know that the parasites are gone. I wonder if it could be that my dragon has stopped eating because of parasites that have appeared in his system.
But if the problem isn't parasites, maybe I need to change his diet. Can you please tell me how you feed your pets?

I can feel her staring into my soul demanding food
She was having a staring contest with a mealworm. I guess I never taught her to not play with her food, lol.

Definitely going to be using this image if I ever catch a fence lizard again.
