Paint fumes

My partner paints cars for a living. He came home today for the first time reeking of paint bc it got on his shoes and he did a late job so it didn't dry. He took them off at the door but the house REEKED because of it. I was at the gym and it hit me like a ton of bricks as soon as I walked in the door

He's desensitised and he likes walking by to say hi to Charlie when he comes home... but the house smelled so bad of the paint all because of him. I made him put the shoes outside and told him to take off clothes and go shower. Then I opened the doors and tried to expel the fumes with air circulators.

The paint was on his shoes but the smell 20 mins later still lingering. I'm worried bc he works with VOCs which is toxic to reptiles. The smell is going away now but that could be me getting used to it.

Should I be worried for my bearded dragon? I'm so mad at my partner what a stupid thing to do.. but I'm trying not to get upset at him because he's desensitised so he didn't know he smelled so bad.

Advice please ! 🙏

Yes I know 😵‍💫 I didn't sleep thinking about it.. she's okay this morning though and the smell was gone within an hr or so I'm so angry at my bf for dragging that home !! 🤬 he apologised and said he didn't know, won't happen again

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
