Me: *takes Thane out and places her on the floor* Now, don't get yourself in trouble.
Thane: *runs toward the bookcase*
Me: No, Thane, I will never get you out from under there. *approaches*
Thane: I do what I want! *puffs beard and pancakes her belly*
Me: You're not very frightening. *scoops her up* Now behave. *places her in the middle of the floor*
Thane: *runs toward the back of the TV*
Me: Siiiigggghhhhh *approaches again*
Thane: Listen, I own this place now. *puffs up again*
Me: Oh really, are you paying rent?
Thane: No but-- *gets scooped again*
Me: This is why you never get a long out time, you know.
Thane: Okay I promise I'll be good... *runs toward the back of the couch*
Me: asdfgghjkkkhfdfh
Thane: ... What?
Me: You're confined to the lap now.

Anyone else experience similar things during out time? :p

Yep!
Pepper has a real affinity for the unreachable corners behind furniture. He only gets to free roam the lizard proofed sunroom now. The first time I had to try and squeeze under his cage to fish him out was the last time. Lol.

I wish we could lizard-proof our place. We have a tiny apartment though and no extra room that can be just hers. I'd love to make or build some kind of playpen though.

This is soooo my boys too! They both have specific places they will go to when I turn my back for even just a second. Thane is way too cute!! You can't stay mad at them for too long that's for sure

We've gout our bedroom pretty lizard-proofed, filled in cracks between furniture, blocked the bottom shelves, etc., but Thomas always finds somewhere to squeeze into. Found him half-wedged into one of my shoes the other day!

He does love his 'outside' basking spot, though. He'll do a few laps and investigate any things that happen to be lying around, then he jumps back up on his MVB spot when he cools down and gets his toast on. Makes it much easier that he knows to go to the light so I don't have to look under things for him. :D

Adorable story!

Simon is pretty predictable. As soon as she's on the floor she either wants the patio door or to stare at Richter, who in return goes crazy trying to get at her. She has gone under the couch, under the TV stand, and I had lost her once under my computer desk.

Richter hasn't had much for time, but the one time he has, he basically went down my hall, found a corner, and pooped.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
