Ok, we got a 3 1/2 month old male beardie on Saturday from winning a raffle at a reptile show. When we brought him home I thought that he would be a little shy and not want to eat because of the relocation stress thing. I ended up buying 700 small reptiworms from the show thinking that if he doesn't eat them then my juvie beardie could. Well I guess I won't have to worry about that now! I came home today to find his bowl empty and him looking at me like "where's my noms woman!". So I grab his bowl of reptiworms and notice that they are almost gone  I think I will have enough tonight to make him happy... But HOLY COW, he ate 700 small reptiworms is 5 days!!!
I know that it's good that he is eating, I am grateful for that. But is that normal to eat that much? :? And he is going poop like normal everyday. What do you think???
Geez and I thought Our babies ate a lot. lol. 700 reptiworms last about 1 week but that is mixing them with hornworms, crix, and some butters and a ton of salad. You have the new dragon breed it is a bearded pigdragon.

Lol, I think that it could be a bearded pigdragon  It feels like he is eating more than Midna, my 7 month old. She is eating her greens a lot more lately, but still when I compare the two together it seems like he is eating more... I wonder if he will continue this or if he will slow down a little :? I ordered some more reptiworms so I have to wait 2-5 days till they get here. I'll have to find another feeder till then and hope he likes whatever I find
i hope your pigdragon enjoys what ever you find until your reptiworms get there too.. Cadmus our new baby seems to
eat more than our other two who are older and much bigger than him. He is a pigdragon also. lol
oh oh I have one of those too!! my piggy eats like 2 salads now one in morning and night and about 50-75 large reptiworms a day...she's only a year so i figure she's still growing..
We mix salad for each in morning. Then feed crix. Then later feed worm mixture ( reptiworms and horns). Then at night
they get more crix. and often during day they get a treat like apple or sweet potatoe or something. They love the worms the
best. 700 only last 1 week. We are now raising hornworms to feed them.
