I have a baby beardie that's probably between 3-4 months old. I've had beardies before but never from a baby and I'm very nervous about his eating habits...I've started feeding him in a separate, smaller cage, so i can make sure he's finding his crickets. Is it ok to feed him in a separate aquarium? Also his main home is a 40 gallon aquarium, is this to large for a baby??
He is around 4-5 inches, I have both of his lights on one side of the tank though along with all of the rocks and things, so he stays around there anyway. Would it be better to get a full length uvb light? He's not horribly inactive but he sleeps an aweful lot, it is winter time but i didnt know if its normal for a baby to behave this way...
Good that you are getting the reptisun tube...I'm waiting for my new bulbs...if only I would have waited one more day I would have got the free shipping
What are your temps? What are you feeding? Yes feeding in a separate container while their young is a good thing.
