So I've noticed that my baby attacks objects in his cage that happen to have calcium dust on them. Like his food bowl, and hide. He bites at them if they have dust on them. Is this odd, or normal?

My baby does the same thing - she will keep picking at the same spot on the floor where I feed her if it has calcium powder on it. I was guessing she associated the calcium powder with food and was just checking to make sure there wasn't something to eat there!
