Odd quirk or normal behavior?

Recently I've noticed that every time Mirage is introduced to a new place/person/object his first reaction is to lick it...and then poo on it/around it. I was wondering if anyone else's beardie had an odd quirk like this lol.

All of mine test EVERYTHING with a lick, but they don't take a dump on it

Same is for Taco: He "dumps" at a very specific place in his enclosure (next to a certain stone). He only once did it outside, and he ran to the doormat for it, likely as it was most similar to a rough sand surface.
