Hey everybody. My son has a bearded dragon and we just found this spot on his tail this evening. Anybody have any idea what it could be? I’ve been researching for the past hour but I haven’t found anything that looks exactly like this yet. Any help would be appreciated.

That looks like a growth or a reaction to a bite of some kind, perhaps. It certainly warrants a closer look and a vet visit is probably a good idea. Keep a close eye on it and take frequent photos to monitor any changes to the area. You might want to put some plain neosporin on it (without pain reliever) as a precaution, but it doesn't look like there is an open wound so I'm not sure if that would be necessary or helpful. I'd have a vet take a look, especially if it seems to be getting larger or spreading.

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
