Not eating

Smaug hasn’t eaten in about 4 days, she ate a few crickets the other day but not many at all, she just started shedding her foot so I’m wondering if that’s why? She has been a little more lazy and lethargic like but I’m guessing that’s because she just started shedding a little. I tried to feed her tonight but she refused, closed her eyes and shook her head. She is just about 11 months old now and about 45cm long, so just wondering if it’s normale for them to not be interested in food a few days before and during they shed?

Yes it can effect her appetite but I am thinking its more the weather- fall is here and winter coming on they tend to eat less --- get a weight on her now and keep track of it- weigh in grams -- as long as all your lighting is up to par and surface basking temps are good and shes not losing weight she should be good --

I live in Australia so will be heading into summer soon, she weighs just over 450g, and she’s just about 11 months, is that too much?

No she's of good weight- how old is your uvb? What brand of bulb are you using?

I replaced it I wanna say 3 months ago give or take, it’s an Arcadia I can post a picture if you would like.

Look on the bulb is it a 12% Arcadia- they only need changed out approx 10-11 months--- and where do you have it? Inside the tank or top of a screen? The placement and distance is determined by screen
