With a 20gal long it would be kinda hard to have both UVB and a 100watt basking bulb on one side wouldnt it?
UVB is on cool side.
100watt sun bulb is on the basking side.

This isnt that great of a pic but here it is. he is basking in this photo, he does from time to time, just not as often as my other beardie(which basks all day)
also i understand the temps in the pic are low it was taken right after we put the therm in there and wasent adjusted yet

well I could see how it could be hard but I am pretty sure that is the reason he is spending so much time in the cool side. He is choosing UVB over heat. Figure out a way that he can get more UVB on the hot side and he will be there more.
