Hey all.. Ive had my 7 mth old for 5 months and as settled really nicely... A wee bit of a diva but loves being handled... She often sits under my chin (Heat and safety comfort maybe), and she also walking toward me and kinda pushed her nose on mine.. So almost ever hold she encourages a nose on nose rub(sounds intimate).. But just wondering if this is a common way dragons self calm themselves...
They all love being on my chest facing my eyes , and often come right up close to my face .
VERY GOOD LISTENERS IMO . I have developed the habits of
chin or nose bumping ( mine to theres' )
given their noses and snouts very firm rubs between my finger and thumb ( my gang like this so much the press back hard into my fingers.
Wait til she decides the top of your head is great place to hangout ( when you sitting on the carpet, the lounge or your bed ).
My Fluffy ( the eastern water skink ) and Cleo my subadult bearded dragon both like sitting on top of my head .
Yeah I have a shaved head and I've had the tentative lowering then realising its spikey but eventually plonking down... Gotta love them for the fact that they ain't shy...
Not tried the nose rub yet.. Might give it a go... Good call.
