I was in petstupid the other day buying supers for my dragons. I brought Phoenix w/me because she loves to tag along, and ride in the car. I was stopped a bunch of times by other shoppers and employees. One of the comments I received about my perfect beautiful girl, was, "Oh, she's a normal, not a pretty morph dragon." and "My boyfriend's beardie is a sandfire such-and-such, and he's so georgeous!" Well, needless to say, I got pretty tired of listening to people use the color "normal" as if it were some kind of defect or something.
Anyway...although I agree all the new morphs out there are quite pretty, I would like to start a thread for people to show off their beautiful, "NORMAL" beardies.
I'll start...
This is my sooo..cute Phoenix when we first got her, 1 year ago:
Look how pretty "normal" can be...
All grown up:
and in your face!
Oops am I interrupting...

Introducing Dragon(he was an abused rescue):
He's a frisky guy...
Uhh ohh, he's getting away! Pretty good for a guy with only 17 toes!
We have three dragons, Sweetie is 2 1/2 yrs old, Lonzo is 4 1/2 yrs old and Issy is 8 wks old, she was 7 wks old in the pics.
Issy, back view
Issy playing with the reflection in her tank
Sweetie helping with the computer
Lonzo inside
Lonzo enjoying the sun
Sweetie has always been different shades depending on her mood. She'll go light gold/yellow when she's really relaxed to dark chocolate/tan colour when she's annoyed. Lonzo we adopted about 3 months ago. He was red as a youngster, but is more regular colours now. He also can go yellow when he's relaxed. Issy is grey/brown with tan accents so far, but she's only a baby, so it's hard to think what she'll look like when she's grown. I guess Lonzo would be the only one not considered normal, but a morph.
I agree! Normal is beautiful!
Here's Yoshi!
posing pretty during shed
gaming with my little bro
loves to sleep on my bike (seriously, its odd.)
and check this out, its from when she was a bit younger- shows her zest for hornworms!
And, contrary to my roommate's opinion on the vid, it was NOT mean. I was watching her follow it with her eyes, and had every intention of giving it to her! so there. haha
I would tell that girl something back, like: I bet u'r pretty jealous since u wish u were normal. To be normal is perfectly fine, u know.
Thanks for sharing your pic. Phoenix is beautiful, what counts is the inner beauty and we know how much they make us happy.
I'll add Trixie's pics as well. I hope she considers as normal as well, with her broken back, lol.
She's a pet store dragon and for me the most special girl with the most cutest face.
I think "normal" is even more beautiful than all of the different types of morphs out there. Because they don't have all the pretty colors, their personality is the first trait that shines through, and that's what makes them even more lovable and special.
Well I just posted a picture of my "normals" but these are all so cute I will post her too to bump this up...
This is Jason -- Where's the food....he's a rescue and only has sight in one eye..
