Yes, you read that right. Three weeks. We are still on vacation and have been gone three weeks now. Spencer had a normal poop on the 24th June (when I was still with him) and not since. I set his tank up, temps are fine, my dad says he's eating fine and he's doing warm baths every third day. Nothing though. He's never gone this long before, my dad is a bit freaked out something may be wrong and he just wouldn't know it.
I'm out of the state, going home to deal with this isn't optional. I'd prefer not to have to send them to a vet. Advice to get them to go? Something he should be watching for?
Hi. How old is he? If he's an adult its normal for them to not go very often. I have one that goes 2 weeks sometimes 3 without going. If he doesn't go in a day or 2 you can try plain sugar free applesauce with a drop of olive oil.
He's old enough that I wouldn't be super concerned about holding off but 3 weeks is quite a long time. I agree that maybe some drops of baby food applesauce with a bit of olive oil may be in order to help move things along. How is he acting otherwise? Does he still have a good appetite?
